With the weather thankfully changing and the clocks now long adjusted we hope the sun will start to shine and put an end to all the rain we have had in the UK. Whilst that has been happening though, here at Lancashire PA Hire we’ve been spending the first quarter of 2024 looking after our customers and we have been extra busy purchasing new stock allowing us to edit, update and improve the business throughout.

For this years weddings and smaller parties we have invested in numerous boxes from Next Pro Audio via our colleagues at Aux Import who are the sole UK distributor for Next Audio group products.
For the smaller venue or house parties we can a supply two of the powered HFA115s with two of their preprogrammed powered PFA12s. This package also includes a 4×2 litedeck table for the Allen&Heath CQ12T mixer to sit on alongside your laptop or mobile phone for music playback, we also include a pair of Equinox fusion 140 moving heads for a nice wash effect in the room.
If you have a slightly larger venue or home we can hire you the bigger NEXTaudiogroup system which comprises of two of the brand new Pro18sa subs with two more powered PFA12 inch tops. This package comes with a larger litedeck 8×2 table allowing our Allen&Heath CQ18T mixer to be used with your laptop or mobile phone for music playback and then two ELUMNE8 Kudos 2RE beam lights are added to the hire for maximum effect.

We have invested heavily into the brand new HKaudio Linear5MKII boxes for maximum efficiency, usability and sound quality. HK Audio have improved the amp modules in all the Linear 5 range so that the DSP out factory presets allows the user to combine all of the speakers perfectly with each other.
We have four of their LINEAR 5 MK II 308 LTA’s which is made up of many small horns of different sizes and lengths. Interfering horn resonances are pushed above the transmission range, which minimises THD and reduces distortion.
The eight subs we purchased to use under their 308LTAs are their new #Linear5MKII118HPA these boxes allow us to set up in a cardioid way which attenuates the bass sound pressure of the physically spherically radiating subwoofers behind the subwoofers by up to 34 dB. There is a slight increase in sound pressure of approx. 2 dB in the front sound dispersion, this results in a directional, cardioid radiation pattern.
With these speakers we can cater for mid sized events using two subs and one top per side, slightly bigger events with three subs and one top per side and with eight subs cardiod and four tops flown we can cover the larger live events.

After completing the sell off of all our Void Acoustics products we already knew which direction we were moving in allowing us to bring something new and exclusive to the UK.
MMacoustics is a well established company in Macedonia and they have been highly prolific in Ibiza for a few years. We have been talking to the owner Marjan Milosevic for quite a while and we struck a deal this year on four of his M4.18 subs and two of the Axios One tops.
Since receiving our first order from MM we quickly realised how good these products are so we didn’t hesitate in ordering two more of the M4.18 subs and two more of the Axios One tops so that we can cater for 700 cap audiences this summer with six subs and four tops running at around 15,000 watts.
If you want to hear an MM Acoustics sound system we are at presently the only company in the UK with a complete set up with more on its way from Macedonia. It is something that needs to be seen and heard as it supersedes how some of our Void Acoustics speakers sounded and certainly is an improvement on some of the similar sized Funktion One boxes.

With all these speakers you need to stock DJ equipment and mixing desks so we are one of a few companies in the North West who have in stock six CDJ 3000s, three DJM A9 mixers, an Allen&Heath CQ12T mixer, an Allen&Heath CQ18T mixer, one Allen&Heath SQ5 mixing desk with stage box. We also have an older DJM 3000 mixer and an Allen&Heath PA20 mixer which are two items we just love to use when the situation arises.
