A lot has happened since our last Blog which you may have noticed was way back in June, we have been a bit laxie daisy with our blogging but the excuse is we have had one heck of a busy summer season to deal with.

We have successfully covered numerous weddings, a multitude of small festivals, various parties and lots of gatherings across the North West, Yorkshire and the Lake District this year. Of course this has been for our large portfolio of regular clients and for a large amount of new customers who have loved our products but more so our standard of service.

New products

Pioneer DJ

We have bought so many new items for our hire stock this year allowing us to keep up with the companies we buy from who have released new speakers, mixers and DJ kit so we will have to tell you all about the products we have purchased.

First of all we flipped all three of the discontinued DJM 900 NXS2s and bought three DJM A9 mixers, we also now have six CDJ 3000s in stock to compliment the flagship A9s. With our Allen & Heath i8 and i10 mixers being past their usage period we went and bought the brand new CQ13T and CQ18T digital mixers to replace them which have turned out to be amazing little things for our party / DJ packs.

Then we come on to new speakers, we now have three NEXT Audiogroup battery powered 10inch / Bluetooth tops, two of their powered B&C driven 15inch bass cabs and two of the powered 12inch tops to run with the 15s, again with B&C drivers. (more to come next year)

Lighting we have also invested in as we have taken delivery of four Elumen8 2RE moving heads, two Equinox Fusion 260ZR wash movers and so that we can suspend them on six meters of quad truss we have bought two of Kuzars K-1 Telescopic 3.8m 125kg lifters via Prolight in Lancashire.

We have been extremely busy with servicing throughout the months of November and December now meaning all six of the Pioneer CDJ 3000s have been stripped, cleaned, had new play / cue buttons fitted by MAD Electronics and DJ Repairs plus they have had the latest firmware installed via Pioneers website.

The HK Audio Linear 5 system has had everything serviced, inspected and torqued ready for selling on as we are trying to get the new Linear 5 products in for the start of 2024 to give us full control of the new products via DSP.

As the DJM A9s are only six months old there is no need to strip and service them but they have had a bit of spit and polish applied.

The Allen & Heath SQ5 has gone into Solotech for a complete strip down and service along with the brand new CQ18T which has a broken WiFi aerial which they are going to change under warranty, the CQ12T doesn’t have that part to break thankfully.

One of our Laserworld RGB 3300 lasers has decided to break down after about 14 months of use so that is with them in Germany along with the others for a general overhaul / service but hopefully its nothing too major.

All our Void Acoustics amplifiers need to go in for service – inspection so that we will be done in January where the company Director, Darryl Fraser will run them down himself to Audio Related Technology LTD for a complete over haul of the Q2s, Q3 and Q5 amplifiers.
